2026 Scholarship
for Students with Disabilities
Ashley’s Kloset Foundation is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to support a disabled graduating high school senior who plans to pursue postsecondary education through a college, university, or accredited career or vocational program. This scholarship represents a meaningful step in Ashley’s Kloset Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting students with disabilities as they pursue higher education. Applications are due July 1, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:

Be a graduating high school senior attending school in Arkansas

Have a verified disability (mobility impairments, sensory disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or developmental disabilities)

Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, or post-secondary career/technical school

Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher

Required Application Materials
A complete scholarship packet must include:

Proof of Enrollment or Acceptance
Documentation indicating acceptance to, or enrollment in, an accredited postsecondary institution. -
Verification of Disability
Documentation from a licensed healthcare provider verifying the applicant’s disability. -
Verification of Intellectual or Learning Disability (if applicable)
School or professional documentation confirming diagnosis. -
Official High School Transcript
Must include school seal and reflect a minimum 2.0 GPA. -
Two (2) Sealed Letters of Recommendation
- One must be on official school letterhead
- Signed by a teacher, counselor, principal, advisor, or department chair -
Student Statement (100–150 words)
A typed paragraph describing:
- Future educational goals and objectives
- How this scholarship will support those goals -
Recent 3x5 Photograph
Photo may be used for Ashley’s Kloset Foundation publications and media announcements.

Award Disbursement
The selected student’s name and intended institution must be confirmed as soon as available. Prior to disbursement of funds, the receiving institution must submit official enrollment verification on institutional letterhead.
